Guided Research with Program Director

Collaborate with a Program Director to Conduct Research and Publish

Participate in tele-lectures, work closely with a Preceptor, and co-author a publication. Take advantage of mentorship and networking opportunities to grow your career in medicine!

How does it work?

  • Students can choose or suggest a research topic, with the preceptor's help in selecting a strong and relevant one.
  • Weekly one-hour meetings with the preceptor cover basics, next steps, queries, and guidance.
  • Students co-author a publication, with authorship order based on participation. First author positions are possible.
  • A research Letter of Recommendation (LOR) can be earned.
  • Students pay any publication fees if applicable, but the preceptor can help choose reputable no-cost journals.
