Is It A Good Idea To Apply To Multiple Specialties?

"
Class Objectives:
Many IMGs end up applying to multiple specialties during a season.

For example, Internal Medicine/Family Medicine, Neurology/Psychiatry and so on. Is that a good strategy?
Which profiles should consider applying for multiple specialties?
What are the pitfalls to be avoided?
How do you balance the ERAS CV and letter of recommendations (LORs)  in such cases?

These and other tips and tricks are discussed in this class where our panel of faculty goes over the scenarios of applying to more than one specialty. If done carefully and with adequate research, it can help you maximize your match chances but if done randomly, it can hurt your interview count in all specialties.
