Why Choose Personalized 1-on-1 Mentorship with a Mentor?

Working with a US physician as a mentor can be very helpful. They bring real-life experience and can share practical tips about the Match process. They can also keep you motivated, guide you through challenges, and help you build a strong professional network. This kind of support can make a big difference in improving your chances of success.

Personalized Approach

Our 1-on-1 physician mentor approach embraces the diversity of individual learning styles. We carefully match you with a mentor based on discussions with our chief mentor, aligning with your unique profile and specialization. Through 10 one-on-one monthly meetings, you receive guidance across all aspects of your journey.

Structured Goal Setting and Accountability

Engaging in insightful discussions with your mentor, a comprehensive match plan is crafted and presented in written format. They will give you specific action items - related to hands-on experience, research and so on. This written blueprint not only sets clear goals but also establishes a system of accountability, ensuring you stay on track and complete tasks with diligence. It is your responsibility as well to follow up on the action plan, prepare your specific questions for the monthly meeting and get the most out of the session.

Personal Statement & ERAS CV Discussion

By delving into your  Personal Statement (PS) and ERAS CV, your mentor provides valuable insights for refinement. You will benefit from a thorough physician review for your personal statement and ERAS  CV, ensuring your application materials stand out. Click here to know more about ERAS CV & PS review process.

Specialized Interview Guidance

In the platinum plan's four mock interviews, the first one is a personalized mock interview with your mentor.  Leveraging an in-depth understanding of your strengths and weaknesses, your mentor offers tailored guidance, enhancing your interview skills.  This session is in addition to your regularly scheduled 10  monthly meetings with your mentor. You can also use this time to discuss specific questions or concerns about the interview to make sure you are fully prepared.  The remaining three mocks will be with other physicians of your choice. In addition to the mock interviews, you will also have access to live interview practice sessions to help you articulate the best responses to go into the interviews with confidence.

Rank Order List

As you get ready to prepare your Rank Order List, your mentor can use their understanding of your goals and profile to review and help you finalized your ROL.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many personal statements can my mentor review?
Platinum plan includes reviews for two specialties, allowing for one review per specialty. However, multiple personal statements for the same specialty cannot be reviewed.
How often can I connect with my mentor and seek guidance?
It is advised to address your queries during the monthly meetings or designated checkpoints with your mentor. If you encounter any challenges or require guidance, feel free to reach out to your mentor, and they will respond at the earliest opportunity based on their availability.
 Can I choose my mentor?
Mentor selection is contingent upon your profile &  their availability. We suggest engaging in a discussion with our chief mentor. Based on this conversation and your profile, we will assign the most suitable mentor for your journey.
Does the mentorship plan include LOR review?
No, the LOR review is not part of the plan. You can avail of this service by paying separate charges through coordination with our Admin team
What distinguishes mentorship by Chief Mentor Mr. Pawan Khera (available in all plans) from having a personalized physician mentor (offered only in the  Platinum plan)?
  1. In alternate plans, a different physician mentor is designated solely for your PS CV review, whereas in the Platinum plan, your assigned mentor will personally handle the review and guide in the  application process.
  2. The Platinum mentor includes a mock interview session knowing your strengths and weaknesses, while Chief Mentor Mr. Pawan Khera does not conduct mock sessions.
Can I change mentors if there are any issues?
Please discuss with our team and chief mentor if there are any issues/concerns and we can discuss options
