Expectations :

  • A mentee is paired with a mentor to ensure optimal attention is placed on the Mentee. Mentor and Mentees are expected to maintain professional and appropriate relationships. 
  • The Mentee's responsibility is to initiate contact with their mentor and guide the communication throughout the course toward completing the exam. 
  • The mentorship program will allow mentees to learn best practices and avoid mistakes studying for Step 1 and provide an opportunity to network with students who are pursuing the same goal - Residency in the United States.

​INFORMATION FOR MENTEE :

A mentee should:
  • ​Be proactive
  • Develop a strategic plan on how to tackle studying for Step 1 with the mentor
  • Be available and responsive to feedback
  • Follow through on commitments
  • Show gratitude and appreciation to mentor

  • Communications discontinued on completion/cancellation of subscription. 
  • Step 1 Mentorship is NOT a teaching course, and mentors are NOT responsible for teaching mentees or resolving mentees' difficulty with learning a concept.  
  • Disregard for the mentor's privacy or harassment of the mentor will result in the subscription's termination. 
  • Mentors will NOT set up daily or weekly meetups individually with the mentee other than mentioned above. ​
